Video recordings of all panel discussions that took place during the ICTY Global Legacy Conference are now available online, in English, French and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian.

The conference, which was held on 15 and 16 November 2011, brought together over 350 leading academics, international judges and practitioners, state representatives and members of civil society. Participants explored together the impact of the Tribunal’s work on international humanitarian law, international criminal procedure and the potential of its jurisprudence to shape the future of global justice and the advancement of human rights.

The conference moderators and panelists were among the most eminent scholars and practitioners in the fields of international human rights, humanitarian and criminal law, and included some of the Tribunal’s own esteemed Judges and former Judges, United Nations officials and government representatives.

The Conference was made possible through the generosity of the Governments of the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the Republic of Korea, as well as the Municipality of The Hague and the Open Society Justice Initiative.
