Ratko Mladić Start of Trial  – Accreditation procedure closed

The accreditation procedure for those wishing to attend the Prosecution’s Opening Statements in the case of Ratko Mladić, scheduled for 16 and 17 May, has now closed.

Final media information and accreditation lists will be posted this afternoon after 16:00 on the Tribunal’s website.

Non-media representatives who have requested to be accredited will be informed by email of the status of their request.

ournalists are required to pick up their accreditation tickets on Tuesday, 15 May from 13:00 to 17:00 at the gate outside of the Tribunal’s main entrance.

Two different types of accreditation will be provided to as many journalists as possible: one for access to the lobby of the Tribunal and courtroom’s public gallery and the second one for access to the Tribunal’s lobby only.

There is only a restricted number of seats available to journalists in the public gallery. There will be enough seats available in the press center in the lobby where the Opening Statements will be broadcast live on large screens.
