Tadic and Kovacevic cases - Changes of defence lawyers

Duško Tadić

Pursuant to a request by Mr. Kostich to be withdrawn from Duško Tadić’s defence team, Mr. John Livingston (a Barrister from London) was assigned co-counsel to Mr. Milan Vujin by the Registrar, in a Decision dated 2 September 1997.

Milan Kovačević

In conformity with a formal request by Mr. Kovačević, Mr. Igor Pantelić was withdrawn as lead counsel and replaced by Mr. Anthony D’Amato, in a Decision of the Registrar dated 3 September 1997.

Mr. D’Amato, a US citizen, was born on 10 January 1937 and is a Professor of Law at Northwestern University, Chicago. In addition to his teaching experience, Mr. D’Amato is admitted to the American Bar Association and has written several books on international law.
