SEARCH WARRANTS BEING EXECUTED IN BANJA LUKA


The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) confirms that members of her Office are in the process of executing search warrants issued at her request by a Judge of the ICTY at several locations in Banja Luka. The purpose of these warrants is to collect documents related to on-going investigations and trials.


This operation is conducted with the cooperation of the local Republika Srpska authorities, S-FOR and the IPTF (International Police Task Force).


The OTP wishes to emphasize that this operation is in no way connected with the arrest of an indicted person.
