DRAGAN CAVIC, PRESIDENT OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, VISITS ICTY


Today, Tuesday 5 October 2004, the President of Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Cavic, visited the ICTY in The Hague.


During his visit to the Tribunal, President Cavic met with the President of the Tribunal, Judge Theodor Meron, and with the Prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte.


In his talks with President Cavic, President Meron pressed for the quick arrest of Radovan Karadzic and other fugitives from international justice on the territory of the Republika Srpska. President Cavic expressed his determination for the Republika Srpska to fully cooperate with the Tribunal.
