APPEALS CHAMBER JUDGEMENT THE PROSECUTOR V. MIROSLAV DERONJIC






Please be advised that the Appeals Judgement in The Prosecutor v. Miroslav Deronjic will be rendered on Wednesday, 20 July 2005 at 2.15 p.m. in Courtroom I before the Appeals Chamber.




Background


On 30 March 2004, Miroslav Deronjic was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment by Trial Chamber II after he entered a guilty plea on 30 September 2004 on one count of the indictment (please refer to Press Release 785 amd 834), namely persecutions on political, racial and religious grounds as a crime against humanity. Miroslav Deronjic appealed the Trial Chamber Judgement on 28
April 2004.
