THE SEVENTH DIPLOMATIC SEMINAR HOSTED BY THE ICTY

Today, Thursday 23 June 2005, representatives from the diplomatic missions to The Netherlands gathered at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for a seminar.

The seminar, the seventh such meeting, provided the diplomatic community with an update on the Tribunal’s activities.

The President, Judge Theodor Meron, the Prosecutor, Ms. Carla del Ponte and the Registrar, Mr. Hans Holthuis provided statements that addressed matters which included the completion strategy and the fact that Radovan Karadžić and Ratko Mladić remain at large 10 years after the Srebrenica genocide.
