HAVING CONSIDERED the request of Ms. Ruth Wedgwood filed on 7 April 1997 for leave to appear as amicus curiae in this matter,

NOTING that no objection was made by the parties to the acceptance of Ms. Wedgwood as amicus curiae,

NOTING that the written brief of Ms. Wedgwood accompanied the application for leave to appear as amicus curiae,

NOTING FURTHER that Ms. Wedgwood is willing to attend the hearing scheduled for Wednesday 16 April 1997,

PURSUANT TO RULE 74

HEREBY

(1) GRANTS LEAVE to the said Ms. Ruth Wedgwood to appear as amicus curiae;

(2) ACCEPTS the submission of the written brief; and

(3) INVITES Ms. Wedgwood to attend the hearing scheduled for Wednesday 16 April 1997 in order to respond to questions from Judges of the Trial Chamber and to provide any further assistance the Trial Chamber may require.
