THE APPEALS CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

NOTING the Judgement in The Prosecutor v. Anto Furundžija, IT-95-17/1-T, rendered on 10 December 1998;

NOTING the "Order on Defendant’s Motion for Extension of Time to File Appellate Brief", issued by the Appeals Chamber on 15 September 1999;

BEING SEISED OF the "Motion for Extension of Time in Which to File Defendant’s Appellate Brief in Reply", filed on 12 October 1999, in which Anto Furundzija ("Appellant") seeks an extension of time until 8 November 1999 in which to file the Appellant’s Brief in Reply ("Motion");

NOTING the "Prosecution’s Response to the Appellant’s Motion for Extension of Time in Which to File Defendant’s Appellate Brief in Reply", filed on this day, in which the Office of the Prosecutor states that it does not oppose the requested extension;

CONSIDERING that Rule 127 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence ("Rules") permits the Appeals Chamber to "enlarge or reduce any time prescribed by or under these Rules" upon good cause being shown;

CONSIDERING that the Appellant in the Motion has shown good cause for the extension of time sought;

PURSUANT TO Rule 127 of the Rules;

GRANTS the Motion;

AND ORDERS that the Appellant’s Brief in Reply may be filed by 8 November 1999.
