THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

BEING SEISED of "The Krajisnik Defence Request for a Scheduling Order", filed by the Defence for Krajisnik on 9 August 2001 ("the Request"), in which the Defence seeks a scheduling order setting down a hearing of its application for provisional release on 29 August 2001, immediately prior to the reconvening of the hearing on the application by Biljana Plavsic for provisional release,

CONSIDERING that the Trial Chamber is awaiting the response of the Office of the Prosecutor to Momcilo Krajisnik’s application for provisional release, which is not due before 23 August 2001,

CONSIDERING that Momcilo Krajisnik’s application for provisional release should proceed in the usual way and that there is no compelling reason for it to be heard as requested on 29 August 2001,

PURSUANT TO RULE 54 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY DENIES THE MOTION.
