I, RICHARD MAY, PRE-TRIAL JUDGE in the proceedings before this Trial Chamber of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),
BEING SEISED OF a "Motion and Request for an Extension of Time Within Which to File Defence Pre Trial Brief" filed by the Defence for the accused, Momcilo Krajisnik ("the Defence"), on 27 September 2002, seeking an extension up to and including 15 October 2002 in which to file its pre-trial brief pursuant to Rule 65 ter (F),
NOTING that the pre-trial brief of the Defence was, in accordance with an order of the Pre-Trial Judge, to be filed on this day, 30 September 2002,
CONSIDERING the reasons provided for the request and that no prejudice to the parties would arise from the extension of time requested by the Defence,
PURSUANT TO RULE 65 ter of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal
HEREBY GRANT THE MOTION AND ORDER the Defence for Momcilo Krajisnik to file its pre-trial brief by the close of the Registry on 15 October 2002.
