I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal");

NOTING the appeals lodged by Milorad Krnojelac and the Prosecutor on 12 and 15 April 2002 respectively against the Judgement rendered by Trial Chamber II on 15 March 2002;

NOTING the "Ordonnance du Président portant affectation de juges à la Chambre d’appel" filed on 19 April 2002;

NOTING the "Order Replacing a Judge in a Case Before the Appeals Chamber" filed on 17 March 2003;

NOTING the "Scheduling Order for the Hearing on Appeal" filed on 24 April 2003;

CONSIDERING the composition of the Appeals Chamber of the International Tribunal set out in Document IT/214 of the International Tribunal ("Composition of the Appeals Chamber Following Election of New President"), dated 11 March 2003;

CONSIDERING Articles 12(3) and 14(3) of the Statute of the International Tribunal;

CONSIDERING that Rule 27(C) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules") provides that "The President may at any time temporarily assign a member of a Trial Chamber or of the Appeals Chamber to another Chamber";

CONSIDERING the need to expedite the hearing and decision of the appeals;

PURSUANT TO Rule 27(C) of the Rules;

HEREBY ASSIGN, with immediate effect, Judge Wolfgang Schomburg and Judge Carmel Agius to replace me and Judge Asoka de Zoysa Gunawardana in the present case.

The Appeals Chamber in Case No. IT-97-25-A, The Prosecutor v. Milorad Krnojelac, will then be composed as follows:
