BEING SEISED of the Request For Assignment Of Co-Counsel filed by Defence Counsel for Vlatko Kupreskic on 5 May 1998 and of the letter from the accused, Vlatko Kupreskic, in support of that application filed on 11 May 1998,

NOTING the Trial Chamber's Decision On Defence Requests For Assignment Of Counsel of 10 March 1998,

CONSIDERING that the above-mentioned Decision was made as an exception to the standard prescribed by Rule 45 (A) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("the Rules") under paragraph (B) of that Rule,

CONSIDERING FURTHER that it is for the Registrar of the International Tribunal to decide whether the Defence Counsel meet the requirements set out in the Rules,

 

HEREBY DISMISSES THE REQUEST FOR ASSIGNMENT OF CO-COUNSEL.
