THE TRIAL CHAMBER,

NOTING the Defence Motion entitled "Defense Motion To Clarify And Reconsider The Presiding Judge’s Request To The President Of The Tribunal To Appoint A Confirming Judge" filed on 25 June 1998 ("the Motion"),

CONSIDERING THAT motions for clarification and reconsideration do not form part of the procedures of the International Tribunal and are not provided for in the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("the Rules"),

CONSIDERING FURTHER THAT, the review procedure having been duly completed and confirmation of the amended indictment having taken place, there are no further orders for the Trial Chamber to make,

CONSIDERING ALSO THAT the Trial Chamber will, after the further appearance of the accused, consider any motion alleging defects in the form of the indictment,

PURSUANT TO RULE 54 of the Rules

HEREBY REJECTS THE MOTION.
