EXERCISING the functions of the President of the International Tribunal in her absence pursuant to Rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules");

NOTING the Defence Request for Leave to Appeal Trial Chamber Decision of 3 July 1998, filed on 6 July 1998 (Official Record at Registry Page ("RP") A1-A4);

NOTING the Decision on Defence’s Request for Leave to Appeal Trial Chamber Decision of 3 July 1998, filed on 14 July 1998 (RP A22-A24);

CONSIDERING the Prosecutor’s Request for Leave to File Brief on Issues Raised in Defence Request for Leave to Appeal Trial Chamber Decision of 3 July 1998, filed on 16 July 1998 (RP A26-A31);

NOTING Rule 116bis of the Rules;

HEREBY ORDERS that:

  1. The Defence is to file a written brief by Wednesday, 29 July, 1998;
  2. The Prosecutor is to file a written brief by Wednesday, 5 August 1998;
  3. The Defence may file a response to the Prosecutor’s brief by Monday, 10 August, 1998.
