I, FAUSTO POCAR, Vice-President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

NOTING the transfer of the accused Miroslav Radic to the seat of the International Tribunal on 17 May 2003;

CONSIDERING that Rule 62 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal provides, inter alia, that "SuCpon transfer of an accused to the seat of the Tribunal, the President shall forthwith assign the case to a Trial Chamber" and "StChe accused shall be brought before that Trial Chamber or a permanent Judge thereof without delay, and shall be formally charged";

CONSIDERING the temporary absence of President Meron;

CONSIDERING that Rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules") provides, inter alia, that "StChe Vice-President shall exercise the functions of the President in case of the latter’s absence";

PURSUANT to Rules 62 and 21 of the Rules;

HEREBY ASSIGN Case No. IT-95-13/1-I, The Prosecutor v. Miroslav Radic, to Trial Chamber II;
