THE APPEALS CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal");

NOTING the Order of 12 February 1999 which provides that the Appellants shall have until 2 July to file their Appellant briefs;

NOTING the "Motion to Sever the Appeal of Zejnil Delalic from that of the Other Celebici Defendants” filed by counsel of Zejnil Delalic on 10 February 1999 ("Motion to Sever Appeals");

NOTING the "Order Reserving Decision on Motion to Sever Appeals" issued on 26 March 1999, whereby the Appeals Chamber reserved decision on the Motion to Sever Appeals until the Appeals Chamber had received the appellant briefs;

NOTING the "Brief of Cross-Appellant Zejnil Delalic", "Appellant-Zdravko Mucic’s Saka PavoC Brief on Appeal against Conviction and Sentence", "Appellant-Cross Appellee Hazim Delic’s Brief", "Brief of Appellant, Esad Landzo, on Appeal against Conviction and Sentence" and "Prosecution’s Appeal Brief" all filed on 2 July 1999;

NOTING that Rule 111 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal requires an Appellant’s brief of argument to set out the grounds of appeal;

CONSIDERING that the "Appellant-Zdravko Mucic’s Saka PavoC Brief on Appeal against Conviction and Sentence" filed on 2 July 1999, fails adequately to set out his grounds of appeal (as opposed to his submissions);

HEREBY ORDERS that:

  1. The Cross-Appellant, Zejnil Delalic, and the Office of the Prosecutor shall file submissions on the Motion to Sever Appeals by Wednesday 28 July 1999.
  2. The Appellant Zdravko Mucic shall file his grounds of appeal by Monday, 26 July 1999.

Done in both English and French, the English text being authoritative.
