TRIAL CHAMBER I of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991;

NOTING the Prosecutor’s "Motion for Order Directing that All Protective Measures Previously Ordered in This Case Be Applied to Naletilic" filed on 23 March 2000;

NOTING the Trial Chamber’s "Order in Respect of the Prosecution Motion for Protective Measures," dated 12 November 1999;

NOTING the Trial Chamber’s "Decision on Prosecution Motion for Additional Protective Measures," dated 4 February 2000;

PURSUANT to Articles 20 and 22 of the Statute;

PURSUANT to Rules 54, 66, 68, 69 and 75 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence (hereinafter "the Rules");

CONSIDERING that the Defence counsel for Naletilic indicated that he does not object to the protective measures at the initial appearance on 24 March 2000;

CONSIDERING that the Trial Chamber deems that the concerns expressed by the Prosecutor as to the safety of the prosecution witnesses are legitimate and that it is incumbent upon the Trial Chamber to take the appropriate measures necessary to ensure their protection whilst enabling the Defence to prepare for trial;

NOTING the oral decision of the Trial Chamber dated 24 March 2000 granting the motion;

FOR THE FOREGOING REASONS,

ORDERS that the protective measures in the orders dated 12 November 1999 and 4 February 2000 be extended to cover the accused Naletilic.
