2 [Open session]

3 [The accused entered court]

4 --- Upon commencing at 2.23 p.m.

5 JUDGE ANTONETTI: [Interpretation] Mr. Registrar, could you call

6 the case number, please.

7 THE REGISTRAR: [Interpretation] Good day, Mr. President. Case

8 number IT-04-74-T, the Prosecution versus Prlic et al.

9 JUDGE ANTONETTI: [Interpretation] Thank you.

10 On behalf of my colleagues, I'd like to greet everyone present in

11 the courtroom; Mr. Mundis, Defence counsel, the accused, and all those who

12 are assisting us.

13 I have two oral decisions to render. The first one will be read

14 out in open session. This decision concerns the admission of a document

15 that relates to the witness Ragib Mulahusic. The Chamber notes that P

16 09699, which is the statement of the witness Ragib Mulahusic, he appeared

17 on the 20th of September, 2006, and we have forgotten to admit this

18 document into evidence. As a result, the Chamber hereby admits into

19 evidence P 09699. This was a document presented by the Prosecution and it

20 is now being admitted, since this document has a certain probative value

21 and a certain relevance.

22 Before we move into private session, my attention has been drawn

23 to the fact, by the legal officer - this is something I also noted - since

24 the Prosecution filed a motion that concerned the demand of recognising

25 certain facts that relate to the municipality of Stolac, this concerns the

Page 10323

1 municipality of Stolac and its surroundings, the Defence counsel has not

2 yet responded to this motion. The motion is, in fact, a letter forwarded

3 to the Defence, and it would be good if the Defence responded with regard

4 to the 100 facts that the Prosecution wants to have admitted. Certain are

5 not in dispute; for example, if one says that Stolac is a town, that is

6 not in dispute. I don't understand why the Defence has not yet

7 responded. I would like all the Defence teams to examine this letter and

8 its contents and to make a group response to this letter; thus we'll be

9 able to save time.

10 For the sake of the public, I said we're going to move into

11 private session.

12 Mr. Registrar.
