THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),

NOTING the "Ordonnance du Président relative à l’attribution d’une affaire à une chambre de première instance", filed on 25 February 2003, assigning this case of The Prosecutor v Vojislav Seselj to Trial Chamber II,

NOTING Rule 65 ter of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("the Rules") which provides that the Presiding Judge of the Trial Chamber shall "designate from among its permanent members a Judge responsible for the pre-trial proceedings" ("the pre-trial Judge"),

NOTING the powers of a pre-trial Judge as set out in Rule 65 ter of the Rules,

NOTING the Order appointing a pre-trial Judge, issued by Judge Wolfgang Schomburg on 28 February, in which he himself was designated pre-trial Judge,

NOTING Document IT.220, signed by the President on 1 October 2003, relating to the Composition of the Appeals Chamber and the Trial Chambers, according to which Judge Wolfgang Schomburg was assigned to the Appeals Chamber and Judge Jean-Claude Antonetti to Trial Chamber II, and according to which Trial Chamber II shall be composed of Judge Florence Mumba, Judge Carmel Agius and Judge Jean-Claude Antonetti,

NOTING the "Order Assigning a Judge to a Case Before a Trial Chamber", signed by Vice-President Judge Fausto Pocar, in which he assigns Judge Jean-Claude Antonetti to the present case,

PURSUANT TO Rule 65 ter of the Rules,

HEREBY DESIGNATES Judge Carmel A. Agius as the pre-trial Judge in this case.
