THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),

CONSIDERING the indictment against Dusko Sikirica submitted by the Prosecutor, as amended and confirmed on 30 August 1999 by Judge Vohrah,

CONSIDERING the transfer of the accused to the International Tribunal on 25 June 2000,

CONSIDERING the initial appearance of the accused on 7 July 2000,

PURSUANT TO Rule 64 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY ORDERS the detention on remand of Dusko Sikirica and enjoins the Commanding Officer of the United Nations Detention Unit in The Hague to detain the accused until further order.
