THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

BEING SEISED of a "Prosecution’s request for extension of time" filed by the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") on 13 May 1999 ("the Request"), seeking a fourteen-day extension of time in which to file a list of agreed facts for consideration by the Trial Chamber as ordered by the Trial Chamber on 10 May 1999,

NOTING the Orders of the Trial Chamber of 10 May 1999 setting this matter down for trial on Tuesday 22 June 1999 and requiring the accused, Milan Simic, to surrender himself to the custody of the United Nations Detention Unit not less than two weeks prior to the commencement of trial, that is, no later than Monday 7 June 1999,

CONSIDERING that the Trial Chamber wishes to hear the Prosecution as to the reasons for the Request and to hear the parties on the status of admissions by the parties and on any other matters relating to readiness for trial,

PURSUANT TO Rules 54 and 73 bis of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY SCHEDULES a hearing for Wednesday 9 June 1999, commencing at 2.45 p.m., at which all accused and their counsel are to be present.
