THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

BEING SEISED of the "Motion of the ICRC for Extension of Time to 21 January 2000 to Comply with the Trial Chamber’s Scheduling Order of 18 November 1999", filed on behalf of the International Committee of the Red Cross ("ICRC") on 3 December 1999 ("Motion for Extension of Time"),

NOTING the Scheduling Order issued by the Trial Chamber on 18 November 1999, and in particular paragraphs (3) and (4) thereof, requiring the ICRC to notify the Trial Chamber by 3 December 1999 of any redactions it would wish to have made to the materials filed in connection with the Decision of the Trial Chamber of 27 July 1999 ("ICRC Decision"), in anticipation of the release of those materials (i) to counsel for the accused Stevan Todorovic, on a confidential basis, and (ii) into the public domain,

NOTING the "Accused Stevan Todorovic’s Response to the ICRC Motion for an Extension of Time", filed on behalf of the accused Stevan Todorovic on 6 December 1999,

CONSIDERING the reasons given in support of the Motion for Extension of Time, in particular, the ICRC’s contention that, at the present time, it does not have the functional capacity to comply with the Trial Chamber’s Scheduling Order of 18 November 1999,

PURSUANT TO Sub-rule 127 (A) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY GRANTS the ICRC an extension of time until 21 January 2000 to comply with paragraphs (3) and (4) of the Trial Chamber’s Scheduling Order of 18 November 1999.
