ORDER FOR EXTENSION OF TIME

_________________________________________

The Office of the Prosecutor:

Ms Joanna Korner
Ms Nancy Patterson
Ms Anne Sutherland

Counsel for the Accused:

Mr. Vladimir Domazet

I, Judge Liu Daqun, Pre-Trial Judge;

NOTING the filing by defence counsel of 28 June 2000, entitled "Defence Pre-Trial Brief" ("Defence Filing"), in which the Defence agrees with the prosecution’s confidential "Motion for Protective Measures" ("Motion") of 27 January 2000;

FURTHER NOTING the "Prosecution’s Response to Pleading entitled zDefence Pre-Trial Brief’ Dated 28 June 2000" of 17 July 2000, in which the Prosecutor notes that the Defence agrees on the protective measures sought by her;

AND NOTING this Trial Chamber’s "Decision on Motion by Prosecution for Protective Measures" of 3 July 2000 in the case of Prosecutor v. Radoslav Brdjanin and Momir Talic (Case No. IT-99-36-PT) ("Decision"), which the Defence could not have been aware of at the time of the Defence Filing;

CONSIDERING that the general legal issues raised with respect to the prosecution’s Motion in this case are identical with those dealt with in the Decision, and should therefore be dealt with in a similar manner, and that the Defence should be given an opportunity to address these issues;

ORDER

that the Defence shall file any further submission regarding the Motion within seven days of receipt of this order.

Done in both English and French, the English version being authoritative.
