Nerma Jelačić, Spokesperson for Registry and Chambers, made the following statement:

Good afternoon,

I will go straight to the court schedule:

The initial appearance of Florence Hartmann will be held on Monday 27 October 2008 at 16:30 in Courtroom 1. Hartmann is charged with contempt for allegedly disclosing information relating to confidential decisions of the Tribunal’s Appeals Chamber in the case of Slobodan Milošević.

A status conference in the Karadzic case is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 28 October at 9.00 am in Courtroom 1.

A status conference in the Tolimir case is scheduled to take place on Friday 31 October at 9.00 am in Courtroom 1. Tolimir, a former senior intelligence officer with the rank of General in the Bosnian Serb Army, was charged by the Prosecution with a range of crimes committed during the 1992-1995 Bosnian conflict. His case is in the pre-trial phase.

The trials for Momčilo Perišić, Lukić and Lukić, and Gotovina and others will recommence next week and the trials of Prlić and others, Popović and others and Šešelj will continue.

Please note that this Friday, 24 October is a UN holiday and the Tribunal will be closed.
