I, FLORENCE NDEPELE MWACHANDE MUMBA, a Judge of the Appeals Chamber of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal");

NOTING the Judgement of the Trial Chamber rendered on 29 June 2004;

NOTING that, pursuant to Rule 22(B) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules"), I have been elected as Presiding Judge of the Appeals Chamber in this appeal;

NOTING that Rule 65 ter and Rule 107 of the Rules authorize the Presiding Judge of the Appeals Chamber to designate a member of the Appeals Chamber to be responsible for pre-appeal proceedings ("Pre-Appeal Judge");

The Appeals Chamber has designated me as Pre-Appeal Judge with responsibility for all pre-appeal proceedings in this case.
