I, Fausto Pocar, Pre-Appeal Judge in this case,

BEING SEISED of the "Appellant’s Request for An Extension of Time and Page Limits for Reply Brief Re Third Motion to Admit Additional Evidence Pursuant to Rule 115" filed confidentially on 16 August 2002, whereby the Appellant seeks an extension of time for the filing of his reply until 13 September 2002, and authorisation to exceed the page limit set out in the Practice Direction on the Length of Briefs and Motions IT/184 Rev.1 ("Practice Direction IT/184") to maximum of 20 pages or 6,000 words in length;

NOTING the "Prosecution’s Response to the Appellant’s Motion for Extension of Time and Page Limits for Reply Brief Re Third Motion to Admit Additional Evidence Pursuant to Rule 115" filed confidentially on 20 August 2002 wherein the Prosecution does not oppose the Appellant’s request for an extension of time but submits with respect to the extension of pages, that 15 pages would be sufficient for the Appellant to reply to the Prosecution’s Response;

PURSUANT to Rule 127 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal and provision (C) (7) of Practice Direction IT/184;

HEREBY GRANT the authorisation sought by the Appellant to exceed the applicable page limit set out in Practice Direction IT/184, and allow him to file a Reply to the Prosecution’s Response to the Appellant’s Third Motion to Admit Additional Evidence Pursuant to Rule 115, of 15 pages in total; and

ORDER that the deadline for filing the Reply shall be further extended to 9 September 2002.
