21             THE REGISTRAR:  We are in open session, Your Honours.

22             JUDGE PARKER:  The Chamber has given consideration to an oral

23     submission that evidence of an intended witness of the Prosecution be

24     given entirely in closed session.

25             It appears to the Chamber that there is sufficient in the

 1     materials now placed before us and the oral evidence that we have heard

 2     to justify the conclusion that the witness does perceive himself to be at

 3     risk from giving evidence, and in the circumstances the Chamber is

 4     persuaded that the most practical course would be for the witness to give

 5     evidence in closed session.

 6             I would mention that there may be some materials that have been

 7     filed at an earlier time which may be a means of disclosing the

 8     evidence -- the name, I should say, of the witness.  If that is the case,

 9     there should be quickly a motion to remove those from the public record.

10             So we will continue now with the evidence in closed session, and

11     the witness should be brought in.
