I, Judge Liu Daqun, Presiding Judge of Trial Chamber I ("Trial Chamber") of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("Tribunal"),

NOTING the Indictment in the Prosecutor v Dragomir Milosevic filed on 24 April 1998;

NOTING that the Registry has advised that the accused Dragomir Milosevic ("Accused") has been detained and transferred to the seat of the Tribunal on 3 December 2004;

NOTING the President’s Order of 3 December 2004 to assign the case of the Accused to Trial Chamber I for the purpose of the initial appearance;

CONSIDERING that it is in the interests of justice and of an expeditious trial to appoint a judge of the Chamber for the purpose of the initial appearance;

PURSUANT to Rule 62 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence;

HEREBY DESIGNATE Judge Alphons Orie as Judge of Trial Chamber I for the initial appearance of the Accused.
