THE APPEALS CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

NOTING the Judgement in The Prosecutor v. Anto Furundžija, IT-95-17/1-T, rendered by Trial Chamber II on 10 December 1998 ("Judgement");

NOTING the "Defendant’s Notice of Appeal Pursuant to Rule 108” from the Judgement, filed by Anto Furundžija on 22 December 1998;

CONSIDERING that sub-Rule 65bis(B) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules") requires "StChe Appeals Chamber or an Appeals Chamber Judge" to "convene a status conference, within one hundred and twenty days of the filing of a notice of appeal and thereafter within one hundred and twenty days after the last status conference, to allow any person in custody pending appeal the opportunity to raise issues in relation thereto, including the mental and physical condition of that person";

CONSIDERING that Anto Furundžija is currently in detention at the United Nations Detention Unit in The Hague pending the hearing of the appeal;

CONSIDERING that the last hearing in this matter was on 2 March 2000;

PURSUANT to sub-Rule 65bis(B) of the Rules;

ORDERS that a Status Conference shall be held before Judge Patrick Lipton Robinson on 29 June 2000 at 4:30 p.m.
