I, WOLFGANG SCHOMBURG, a Judge of the Appeals Chamber of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal");NOTING the "Order Assigning Judges to a Case Before the Appeals Chamber and Appointing a Pre-Appeal Judge", filed on 26 October 2006;NOTING the "Order Reassigning a Pre-Appeal Judge in a Case Before the Appeals Chamber", filed on 2 November 2006, which designated me to serve as Pre-Appeal Judge in this case; NOTING that Rule 65bis(B) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence (“Rules”) requires “₣tğhe Appeals Chamber or an Appeals Chamber judge” to “convene a status conference, within one hundred and twenty days of the filing of a notice of appeal and thereafter within one hundred and twenty days after the last status conference, to allow any person in custody pending appeal the opportunity to raise issues in relation thereto, including the mental and physical condition of that person"; NOTING that the Trial Judgement in this case was delivered on 27 September 2006; NOTING that the "Prosecution’s Notice of Appeal" was filed on 26 October 2006;NOTING the "Decision on Request for Extension of Time to File Notice of Appeal" by the Pre-Appeal Judge, filed on 26 October, which orders the Appellant to file his notice of appeal no later than 30 days after the assignment of counsel to him; CONSIDERING that Momćilo Krajišnik is currently in the United Nations Detention Unit in The Hague pending appeal; PURSUANT to Rule 65bis(B) of the Rules HEREBY ORDER that a status conference be held before the Pre-Appeal Judge on 11 December 2006, 4.00 p.m. in Courtroom I.
