ORDER ON PROTECTIVE MEASURES
_______________________________________________________________________________
Office of the Prosecutor:
Mr. Dirk Ryneveld
Counsel for the Accused:
Mr. Slavisa Prodanovic for the accused Dragoljub Kunarac
Mr. Momir Kolesar for the accused Radomir Kovac
Mr. Goran Jovanovic for the accused Zoran Vukovic
1. The Trial Chamber is seised of the confidential "Prosecutors Motion Requesting Protective Measures for Witnesses at Trial" ("Motion"), which was filed on 8 March 2000. The Prosecutor requests the Trial Chamber to grant protective measures for two additional witnesses (FWS-205 and FWS-192) and to alter the protective measures previously ordered for FWS-186. The Defence filed a joint confidential "Defence Response to the Prosecutors Motion Requesting Protective Measures for Witnesses at Trial" ("Response") on 14 March 2000. The Defence does not oppose the Prosecutors request for the granting of protective measures for FWS-205 and FWS-192, but fails to state their position on the Prosecutors request relating to FWS-186.
2. With respect to FWS-186, the Trial Chamber considers that the Motion provides sufficient reasons for varying the Trial Chambers "Order on Prosecutors Motion Requesting Protective Measures for Witnesses at Trial" of 5 October 1998 ("Protective Measures Order") in the manner requested.
3. The Trial Chamber, pursuant to Rules 69, 73, 75 and 79 of the Rules, hereby decides to grant the Motion and orders as follows:
Done in both English and French, the English version being authoritative.
