TRIAL CHAMBER II of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia;

NOTING that the Prosecution has filed its Closing Brief as a confidential document, using the plain names of protected witnesses, after the close of business on Friday 29 October 1999;

CONSIDERING that, due to the fact that the Closing Brief will eventually have to be referred to by the Trial Chamber in its judgement, it is a public document unless ordered otherwise by the Trial Chamber, no such order having been made in this case;

FURTHER CONSIDERING that for the aforementioned reasons the Closing Brief has not been filed properly;

HEREBY ORDERS:

1. The Prosecutor shall file a new Closing Brief no later than Thursday, 4 November 1999, 16.00 p.m..

2. The plain names of the protected witnesses shall be replaced by the pseudonyms given to them in the hearings before the Trial Chamber.

3. The Prosecutor shall abstain from making any other changes to the Closing Brief apart from those mentioned under 2.

Done in English and French, the English text being authoritative.
