I, PATRICK ROBINSON, Judge of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),
HAVING BEEN APPOINTED as pre-trial Judge in this matter by virtue of Orders of the Trial Chamber dated 10 December 2001 and 16 May 2002,
BEING SEISED of a "Motion for Extension of Time" filed by counsel for the accused, Dusko Knezevic, on 15 October 2002 ( "the Motion"), seeking an extension of time in which to file notice of any objections to new charges specified in a filing from the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") on 26 July 2002, as directed by the Decision on Prosecution’s Motion for Joinder of Accused issued by the Trial Chamber on 17 September 2002 on the ground that counsel has been newly assigned to the accused and has only recently received the documents,
CONSIDERING the reasons stated in support of the Motion,
PURSUANT TO Rule 127 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules")
HEREBY GRANT the Motion and ORDER the Defence for Dusko Knezevic to file its notice of any objections to the new charges no later than Monday 11 November 2002.
