THE TRIAL CHAMBER,

NOTING the Order of the Appeals Chamber dated 29 May 1998 allowing the Prosecutor’s appeal against the Decision of this Trial Chamber,

NOTING ALSO that the Order of the Appeals Chamber instructs the Trial Chamber to grant leave to amend the indictment,

NOTING FURTHER that the trial of this matter is set to commence on Monday 6 July 1998,

PURSUANT TO Rule 50 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY GRANTS leave to the Prosecutor to amend the indictment as sought;

And ORDERS as follows:

  1. without prejudice to the right of the accused to a further period of sixty days in which to file preliminary motions in respect of the new charges in the amended indictment, the parties shall by Monday 8 June 1998 notify the Trial Chamber of their readiness to proceed to trial on 6 July 1998;
  2. the further appearance of the accused, Milan Kovacevic, to plead to the new charges in the amended indictment shall take place on Friday 12 June 1998 at 2 p.m., to be followed by a closed session status conference; 
  1. subject to further order, all other dates for filings as set by the Trial Chamber in its Scheduling Order of 13 May 1998 shall stand.
