I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),
NOTING the transfer of the accused Veselin Sljivancanin to the seat of the International Tribunal on 1 July 2003;
CONSIDERING that Rule 62 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal provides, inter alia, that "[u]pon transfer of an accused to the seat of the Tribunal, the President shall forthwith assign the case to a Trial Chamber" and "[t]he accused shall be brought before that Trial Chamber or a permanent Judge thereof without delay, and shall be formally charged";
HEREBY ASSIGN Case No. IT-95-13/1, The Prosecutor v. Veselin Sljivancanin, to Trial Chamber II, composed, with immediate effect, as follows:
