2 [Open session]

3 [The accused entered court]

4 --- Upon commencing at 2.34 p.m.

5 JUDGE PARKER: I would like to welcome you all back from the

6 break. I hope your respective Easter celebrations were satisfactory. We

7 apologise first that because a new Judge was being sworn in we were a

8 little delayed getting here, but our goose was saved by technical problems

9 which delayed us even further. But I understand we're now ready to

10 commence.

11 Mr. Moore.

12 MR. MOORE: Your Honour, yes we are.

13 May I just indicate to assist the Court and my learned friends

14 that on my right sits Mr. Theunens, who is a witness to be called in due

15 course. He is a military analyst, and with the Court's leave, and I

16 believe there are no objections, he will be present through the calling of

17 the military witnesses. We are in a position to call the first

18 witness, P-014.

19 JUDGE PARKER: Thank you.

20 MR. MOORE: Your Honour, while the witness is being located --

21 Your Honour, while the witness is being located, I will be asking to go

22 into closed session or private session for some considerable periods of

23 time because this witness, given his role, would be readily identifiable.

24 [The witness entered court]

25 JUDGE PARKER: Good afternoon, sir. Would you please take the

2 THE WITNESS: [Interpretation] I solemnly declare that I will speak

3 the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

4 JUDGE PARKER: Thank you. Please sit down.

5 [Trial Chamber and registrar confer]

6 JUDGE PARKER: Now, Mr. Moore, private session would be

7 appropriate at this point, I take it?

8 MR. MOORE: It would, yes.
