THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia Since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),

BEING SEISED of a confidential request for extension of time ("the Request"), filed on 8 November 1999 on behalf of the International Committee of the Red Cross, which appears as amicus curiae in this matter, seeking an extension of time of seven days in which to file a response to the "Motion requesting disclosure of written pleadings and transcripts of hearings in relation to the ‘Decision on the Prosecution Motion under Rule 73 for a ruling concerning the testimony of a witness’ issued on July 27, 1999" filed on behalf of three of the accused, Milan Simic, Miroslav Tadic and Simo Zaric on 25 October 1999 ("the Motion"),

CONSIDERING the reasons given in support of the Request, in particular, that the International Committee of the Red Cross seeks additional time so that it can formulate a position to best assist the Trial Chamber in its resolution of the issue,

PURSUANT TO Rule 127 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY GRANTS the Request and ORDERS that the International Committee of the Red Cross shall have until Monday 15 November 1999 to file its response to the Motion.

Done in both English and French, the English text being authoritative.
