I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),
NOTING the "Defendant, Milomir Stakic’s Motion to Enlarge Time for Filing of the Notice of Appeal" filed by counsel for Milomir Stakic on 11 August 2003;
CONSIDERING the composition of the Appeals Chamber of the International Tribunal set out in Document IT/215 of the International Tribunal ("Composition of the Appeals Chamber "), dated 13 June 2003;
CONSIDERING Articles 12(3) and 14(3) of the Statute of the International Tribunal;
CONSIDERING that, pursuant to Article 14(2) of the Statute of the International Tribunal and the settled practice, I am the Presiding Judge in the cases on which I sit;
CONSIDERING that Rule 65 ter of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence ("Rules"), read together with Rule 107 of the Rules, authorizes the Presiding Judge of the Appeals Chamber to designate a member of the Appeals Chamber to be responsible for pre-appeal proceedings ("Pre-Appeal Judge");
HEREBY ORDER that the Appeals Chamber in case No. IT-97-24-A, The Prosecutor v. Milomir Stakic, shall be composed, with immediate effect, as follows:
