I, Wolfgang Schomburg, Judge of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

HAVING BEEN DESIGNATED pre-trial Judge in the present matter by the "Order Appointing a Pre-Trial Judge" issued by Trial Chamber II of the International Tribunal on 28 November 2001;

RECALLING that the pre-trial conference in the present case has been scheduled for 18 February 2002;

CONSIDERING that the circumstances surrounding the approval of the budget of the International Tribunal do not, at present, allow the start of the sixth trial before it;

PURSUANT TO Rule 65ter of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY SUBSTITUTE a status conference for the pre-trial conference for 18 February 2002, with the pre-trial conference being postponed until further order.
