I, GABRIELLE KIRK McDONALD, President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia ("International Tribunal"),

NOTING the Orders for the Assignment of a Judge to an Appeals Chamber dated 13 and 19 March 1998, by which Judge Almiro Simões Rodrigues was appointed as substitute for Judge Antonio Cassese, such substitution to take effect only after the Appeals Chamber has decided on the Appellant’s pending request seeking presentation of new evidence, which request has now been determined,

NOTING that Judge Cassese has, by memorandum dated 21 September 1998, advised that he wishes to continue sitting in this matter,

HAVING CONSULTED the Judges of the International Tribunal,

CONSIDERING Article 14, paragraph 3, of the Statute and Rule 27 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY REASSIGN Judge Antonio Cassese to the Appeals Chamber in Case No. IT-94-1-A, Prosecutor v. Dusko Tadic, substituting Judge Almiro Simões Rodrigues.

The Appeals Chamber in Case No. IT-94-1-A, Prosecutor v. Dusko Tadic, will be composed as follows:
