THIS APPEALS CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),
BEING SEISED of the confidential ex parte submission filed by the Victims and Witnesses Section on 26 April 1999 ("the Motion") seeking protective measures in respect of three of the witnesses to be called by the Appeals Chamber, as identified in the Motion,
HAVING HEARD the arguments of the Victims and Witnesses Section in respect of the witnesses in closed session on 26 April 1999,
CONSIDERING that the relief requested in the Motion is appropriate for the privacy and protection of the witnesses but is still consistent with the rights of Mr. Vujin, prior counsel in this matter,
PURSUANT TO RULES 75 and 79 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,
HEREBY GRANTS THE MOTION in respect of the witnesses AND ORDERS as follows:
