Registry and Chambers:
Refik Hodžić, Spokesman for Registry and Chambers, made the following statement: President Pocar, Prosecutor Del Ponte and Registrar Hans Holthuis will travel to Croatia to attend the international conference on establishing the truth in the aftermath of armed conflict. President and Prosecutor will speak in sessions dealing with the role of war crimes trials in establishing the truth, while Registrar will address the conference on the importance and the future of Tribunal archives. Tomorrow, Trial Chamber I will render its judgment in the contempt case against Domagoj Margetić, journalist and newspaper editor, on Wednesday, 7 February 16:00 in Courtroom I. Margetić is charged with contempt of the Tribunal for knowingly publishing the names of protected witnesses who testified in the Tihomir Blaškić case. The trial against Margetić started on 30 November 2006 and continued on 8 December 2006. In its closing brief the defence sought an acquittal whilst the prosecution asked for a prison sentence of six months and a €50,000 fine.
SCHEDULE:
The trials for Milutinović et al., Prlić et al., Popović et al. and Milošević will continue this week and next in all three courtrooms. In addition, there are a number of status conferences this week for the following cases: Momčilo Perišić today at 3 p.m. in courtroom I; Brđanin on Wednesday at 8 a.m. in courtroom I; and Gotovina et al. Friday at 4 p.m. in courtroom I. An appeals hearing will also take place in the Miroslav Bralo case on Friday at 2:15 p.m. in courtroom III. Next week, a status conference will take place in case against Milan Lukić and Sredoje Lukić on Thursday 15 February at 15:00 in courtroom I. And lastly, the Trial Chamber filed an order on Friday requiring Ramush Haradinaj to return to the UNDU on Monday 26 February from provisional release.

Olga Kavran, Spokesperson for the Office of the Prosecutor, made the following statement:
As you know, the Prosecutor will be in Madrid tomorrow, meeting with Mr. Miguel Angel Moratinos, Foreign Minister of Spain and in Zagreb on Thursday and Friday, attending a conference on Establishing Truth after Armed Conflict.
Next week, on Thursday, 15 February, Prosecutor Del Ponte will be in Rome, meeting with Foreign Minister Massimo D’Alema as well as other officials. The meetings are to discuss cooperation of countries in the area of the former Yugoslavia with the Office of the Prosecutor.
