The Prosecutor will be this afternoon and tomorrow in Geneva to
attend the annual week for human rights. She will have a press conference
on 18 March 2004 at 10 a.m. at the UN building and she will also
have some bi-lateral meetings with several EU Members.

Questions:

Asked if the Prosecution intended to reply to the amici curiae
motion under Rule 98 bis in the Milosevic case, Hartmann
replied that their response is due by Monday, 22 March 2004 and
that they were working on it.

Asked if the was any indication when a new Judge in the Milosevic
case would be appointed, Landale stated that he could not give a
precise date but that as he had said last week he was confident
that it would happen relatively soon.

A question was asked regarding a media report on Croatian TV that
an indictment against Praljak had been issued. Hartmann replied
that the journalist should recall that for more than one month several
allegations in different newspapers related to this name had been
published and that they had never been verified. She suggested the
journalist to do the same with this report.

Finally a journalist asked about Milosevic’s health situation,
whether he was in good health and working on his defence, Landale
replied that as far as he knew this was the case.
