Completion Strategy and IRMCT

The ICTY President and Prosecutor submit to the UN Security Council assessments on the progress made towards implementation of the completion strategy of the Tribunal. These assessments, requested by Security Council resolution 1534 (2004), are submitted every six months and set out the measures that have been taken and that remain to be taken to meet the completion strategy referred to in resolution 1503, including the transfer of cases involving intermediate and lower-rank accused to competent national jurisdictions.
