Please be advised that the Appeals judgement in The Prosecutor v. Miodrag Jokić will be rendered on Tuesday, 30 August 2005 at 2.15 p.m. in Courtroom III before the Appeals Chamber.


Background




On 18 March 2004, Miodrag Jokic was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment by Trial Chamber I after he entered a guilty plea on 27 August 2003 to six counts of the violation of the laws or customs of war (see press release 832 and 776). Miodrag Jokic appealed the Trial Chamber judgement on 16 April 2004.
