ICTY Hosted Meeting of The Hague Judicial Club

The Tribunal yesterday hosted the annual meeting of The Hague’s Judicial Club gathering judges and registrars from the international courts based in The Hague and members of the Dutch Supreme Court.
Around 25 participants from the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Iran-United States Claims Tribunal the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, and the Dutch Supreme Court met with the Tribunal’s judges and Registrar John Hocking. As part of the meeting, the participants toured the Detention Unit and learned more about the Tribunal’s efforts to manage the facility according to the highest international standards.
This was the first time that the Tribunal has hosted this yearly event, which provides judges and registrars with an opportunity to meet and share their experiences.
