Media accreditation now open for the ICTY’s final Appeal Judgement

| The Hague |

The media accreditation procedure has now opened for the Appeals Chamber’s pronouncement of its Judgement in the Prlić et al. case — the ICTY’s final and most voluminous appeal case — on Wednesday, 29 November 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom I.

All media representatives wishing to attend the pronouncement of the ICTY’s final Appeal Judgement must submit an accreditation request by email to press [at] icty.org by 13 November 2017. This request should contain the name of the media outlet as well as the full name, passport number and contact details of all journalists and technicians.

Due to space limitations, there will be two different types of accreditation provided to as many journalists as possible: one for access to the lobby of the Tribunal and the courtroom’s public gallery, and the second for access to the Tribunal’s lobby only.

Representatives of the media will be informed about the status of their accreditation request and collection details by email. The final accreditation lists will also be made available on the Tribunal’s website on 17 November 2017.

Members of the public wishing to attend the pronouncement of the Judgement should send an email to kralt.icty [at] un.org to obtain more information on the procedure to follow and the available space.
