MILOSEVIC CASE:


START OF THE DEFENCE CASE RE-SCHEDULED TO 19 JULY, 2004




Please be informed that, following receipt of a medical report dated 12 July 2004, Trial Chamber III has ordered that the start of the Defence case in The Prosecutor v. Slobodan Milosevic, scheduled for 14 July 2004, will now commence on Monday, 19 July 2004 at 9 a.m. in Courtroom I.


The Trial Chamber also ordered the Registrar "to obtain a report from the treating cardiologist by the end of Friday, 16 July 2004 indicating whether the Accused is fit to participate in court proceedings from Monday, 19 July 2004 to Wednesday, 21 July 2004".


All journalists can now pick up their accreditation on the afternoon of Friday 16 July from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or on Monday, 19 July from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the entrance to the ICTY building.
