President Meron met yesterday with the UK Foreign Secretary Mr William Hague in London. During the meeting President Meron thanked the UK for their continued strong support for international criminal justice and provided an overview to the Secretary of the achievements of international criminal justice and remaining challenges. President Meron also discussed with the Secretary the forthcoming ‘Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict’ to be held in London on 10-13 June, at which President Meron will chair the session ‘Closing the Impunity Gap – Legislative Frameworks’ on 11 June.
